ABOUT THE COMPANY:

The International Kindergarten was founded in 2003 and is a part of GLOB Language Centre with its main office in Wroclaw, Rynek 42. Our company started its activity in 1988 as one of the pioneers in the field of foreign language teaching, both European and oriental ones such as Japanese, Chinese, Arabian etc. A vast experience acquired during running the language school is a guarantee of high quality childcare and other services offered by the kindergarten.
GLOB Language Centre owns a licence issued by the Ministry of National Education in 1987 and since then it has educated thousands of people leading them towards international exams. It is worth emphasising that GLOB employs the best teachers. In their work they use both the latest teaching aids and teaching approaches.
GLOB Language Centre is not only a school, but also a translation centre hiring translators of all languages and all fields of specialization.

ABOUT THE KINDERGARTEN:

There are two sections at the kindergarten: Polish and international. In the Polish section all the lessons are in Polish and at the same time the children participate in an intensive course of English. The international section comprises children of foreigners living in Wroclaw. All the classes are held exclusively in English.

International meeting of the children which take place daily build mutual relationships between them. The meetings also lead to a stress- free communication in the English language. All the children willingly attend the kindergarten and feel at home here.

LOCATION:
The kindergarten is situated in the modern neighborhood, just behind the Bielany Hotel(on the left). It is in a newly built building which is suitable for children. The place consists of several rooms and a parlor. There is also a kitchen at the kindergarten serving family meals. The kindergarten has got a big garden and a monitored playground as well as a parking facility. Our kindergarten is easily accessible from all parts of Wroclaw.

	Nursery	from the 11th month

Kindergarten’s curriculum covers the following issues::

• Language classes in English run daily, the lessons are based on the UK course books for children
• Reading classes (fairy tales and stories reading),conversations with children on a given/selected topic
• Drama classes they cover a presentation of well-known scenes from children’s stories, the children actively participate
• Art classes: children are engaged in creating art works using various techniques
• Music and rhythm classes (does this sound natural???): learning songs, becoming familiar with musical forms, recognizing musical instruments
• Classes with a speech therapist
• Ballet with the elements of a modern dance
• Corrective gymnastics and martial arts

Extracurricular, paid activities:

• Lesson in German
• Swimming lessons from the age of 3 upwards
• Individual lessons/ meeting with a speech therapist

SCHEDULE OF A KINDERGARTEN DAY

7:00 am -   9:00 am	greeting at the kindergarten, games in an international group
9:00 am -   9:30 am	breakfast
9:30 am - 11:00 am	classes and lessons held according to a schedule with an instructor and a kindergarten teacher
11:00 am - 12:00 am	outside play
12:00 am -   1:00 pm	lunchtime: the first and the second course are served.
1:00 pm	resting in beds, playing in the garden
1:00 pm -   3:30 pm	working with the ABC book
2:00 pm	teatime
3:30 pm	games in an international group played under a supervision of a kindergarten teacher
4:00 pm	the second lunch
6:00 pm	taking children home

ADDITIONAL HIGHLIGHTS:

1. Once a month an educational trip is organized. Children travel in a comfortable bus. They are taken: puppet theatre, a playground, a horse stable, children exhibitions, TV and radio.
2. Live entertainment and numerous parties are organized. These include: Mother’s Day, The International Children's Day, Grandparents’ Day, St. Claus visit, Earth Day, Halloween, Spring Day, tree planting, birthday party of each child. Festivals and academies are accompanied by children performances
3. Interesting guests are invited, e. g. actors from a puppet theatre, doctors, policemen and people from many walks of life.
